Does Simple Search-Replace support regular expressions?
No. Simple Search-Replace was created to be a simple utility to find and replace text. When you start adding regular expressions into the user interface or searching algorithm, it becomes complex and no longer simple to use.
We pride ourselves in creating a free, fast, easy to use search and replace utility. There are many other search and replace utilities out there that support regular expression searches, we suggest finding one of those for your more complex and intense searching requirements.
